I am delighted to know that you have accessed my website to find out more about me, my passion, and my work during the last years.
I am an enthusiastic photographer living in the heart of Transylvania, Romania, Zau de Cîmpie village, more precisely. This is the place where I spent my childhood, an extremely picturesque area, where I still discover a part of the beauty of countryside life. After years and years, I am still trying to rediscover this area through photography.
My passion for photography began to take shape in 2009, after having bought my first DSLR camera. I have participated in several workshops together with famous Romanian photographers, resulting in my approaches to various themes such as rural, landscape or nature photography, as well as minimalist-abstract or portrait photography. I mainly shoot in my village area and its surroundings, but I also visit other photogenic places in my home country and abroad.
Since 2011, I have been a member of "Marx Jőszef" Photography Club, Tîrgu-Mureș, the oldest photography club in the country. I find very useful the debates on photography themes and cultural activities organised here, as well as the exhibitions and contests I participate in.
Throughout this period (2009 - present), I have managed a photography project entitled "My Village", which presents different aspects of life in Zau de Câmpie village. This project has already materialised in several solo exhibitions, and a photo album. You can find out here more details of this project.
